EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Contract Location: Croydon, South London Start Date: December 2025 Contract: Full-time, long-term Are you passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a wonderful Primary School in Croydon seeking a caring and dedicated EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil within their Early Years Foundation Stage. Limited parking is available on site, with on-street metered parking nearby. 💼 Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in the EYFS, assisting with learning, communication, and social development. Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment. Use play-based approaches to help the child engage with early learning goals. Monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and adapt support strategies as needed. Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning in every interaction. 👩‍🏫 The Ideal Candidate Experience working in an EYFS setting or supporting young children (Nursery or Reception). Understanding of Early Years development and/or experience supporting SEND pupils. Warm, patient, and nurturing approach with strong communication skills.
